Terms of use
Last updated 2026-08-28. By using PillPal you agree to these terms. On iOS, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies.
PillPal is a reminder tool, not medical advice
PillPal helps you remember to take what you and your clinician decided you should take. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend doses or check interactions. The medication library contains short general descriptions for recognition only. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions and never change a treatment because of anything in the app.
Reminders can fail
Notifications depend on your phone's settings, battery state, operating system and Focus configuration. Do not rely on PillPal as the only safeguard for medication where a missed dose could cause harm.
Free tier and Premium
The free tier includes all features with up to three pills. Premium unlocks unlimited pills through an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple or Google. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Acceptable use
Use PillPal for personal, lawful purposes. Do not reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the service.
Liability
PillPal is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Black Box Code LLC is not liable for missed doses, health outcomes or indirect damages arising from use of the app.
